If hiking is your thing, the Lake District is a perfect romantic location. Walking, lake boat trips, cycling or running are perfect activities to get up to in this slice of English heaven. At night, the Lake District is one of the darkest areas in the UK. Once night falls, go to a secluded spot and witness the starry skies overhead.
